EYE-CATCHING GOLF OUTFITS THAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT ON THE COURSE

EYE-CATCHING GOLF OUTFITS THAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT ON THE COURSE

Over the years, the ever-evolving women’s fashion in golf has been changing for the better. While once limited to what types of clothing they could wear, the rules tend to be more lax. Despite the code set by most courses, women are turning heads with the stylish outfits they're flaunting on the greens and in the clubhouse. Though, there is a bit of confusion when it comes to what is ok to wear, as private and semi-private courses will have some form of dress code. It's essential to know the basic rules of proper golfing attire for women, so you have something that's both comfortable and fashionable, and appropriate.

TOPS

Most golf courses permit both short sleeve and sleeveless shirts, though others may insist on a collar. If you're heading to a new club, opt for a short sleeve shirt with a collar. Our short sleeve polo is a favorite amongst female golfers, as it gives a pop of color and can be layered if you're in a colder climate. Neutrals and solid colors are usually best, as you can pair with patterned pants like our eye-catching pull-on skort, Banned tops typically include T-shirts, halters, crop tops, low cut shirts, and spaghetti strap tank tops.

SWEATERS AND JACKETS

Layering is essential for both men and women in golf. While denim jackets or sweatshirts on the course are forbidden when cooler weather hits, players can wear a shell jacket, golf sweater or windbreaker. We love sporting our roll-sleeve jacket because it comes with an integrated hood and is waterproof too!

BOTTOMS

A proper golf outfit is incomplete without a flashy pair of bottoms. While some courses still require women to wear skirts, most of them now allow pants and shorts. Golf dresses or skorts are a popular choice, as they are notably comfy and give you the coverage you need no matter where your ball lands. Other standard options are capris, crops or shorts as well as slacks. Jeans, sweatpants and athletic pants should never be worn on the course.
